A Season to Remember!
It was a big racing weekend for members Hole and Cowboy!
First Hole continued his march to glory in the AHRMA National championship cleaning house at Barber Motorsports Track. This in from Hole:
Saturday - “2nd in 200gp, got robbed. Lead the whole race and was passed on the last lap due to power loss. My header pipe broke in half and it ran like shit. 2nd in 250gp. Crushed it. Had a big gap. The leader is ex pro Paul Germain on a 250 two stoke yammy. No beating him on a 175 four stroke. Blew up the 350 in practice. So i decided to run the f160 lemans race at the last minute on the b bike. Was grided 30th. Got super shitty start due to the clutch being stuck. Couldn’t shift outa first. Got it sorted and then passed 25 riders for a 4th place finish.”
Sunday’s results: 1st in 200gp, 3rd in 250gp, 3rd in 160 Lemans on the backup bike.
BRING ON TO DAYTONA NEXT WEEKEND!
Meanwhile, Cowboy finished off his OMRRA season at PIR with a 2nd overall in the Vintage Class. See him next year running the #2 plate!
